I was asked to do this cake and was loaned the cake pan. It was a first for me to use a character pan. It was harder than I thought it would be! This was also the first time to make the baby booties. So cute! The cakeboard was covered with fondant and brushed with silver luster dust... which was actually an accident. I spilled some luster on the board, so I just brushed it all over. LOL! I love the way it turned out! Accidents are great sometimes, aren't they?Yellow cake with vanilla icing; booties and ribbon made of gumpaste.
