My first fun cake!! Well, the first since I started taking pics of them. It was for a surprise 50th birthday party for my friend's mom. This was around the time that I started venturing away from the "cookie cutter cake." I had no idea what was out there already! Probably not too spectacular compared to others, but I was so proud of my creativeness at the time. :) I still love the birthday candle fence I made.The two small rounds were vanilla rum cake and the third cake was strawberry; icing was vanilla buttercream.
