When my hubby's friend decided to propose to his girlfriend, I was asked to make the dessert for their romantic meal. I decided to play around with chocolate and made that ring box. Not bad for the first try! I piped some of the remaining mousse into the box to simulate the pillow insert. Everything turned out well despite the almost 2 hour car trip it had to endure. Oh, and she said yes!!Chocolate cake with white chocolate raspberry mousse; iced with chocolate buttercream. The top is the raspberry puree I made; it was also used in the mousse filling.
